Arkansas MOAA Convention to be held july 25

MOAA members are invited to attend the Arkansas MOAA Convention (ARCON26) to be held at Camp Robinson on Saturday, July 25 2026, from 0930 to 1630.

This year’s program will feature a wonderful line-up of special guests and speakers, including Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Brian Kelly, President and CEO of MOAA. Keynote speaker will be Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria, USAF (Ret.), who serves as President of the University of Arkansas System.

BG Chad Bridges, Adjutant General of the Arkansas National Guard will serve as a local guest speaker.

Arkansas MOAA chapter member spouses are strongly encouraged to attend the presentation by Mrs. Gail Joyce, MOAA Surviving Spouse Liaison.

A MOAA Council and Chapters overview will also be provided by Capt. Frank "Tank" Michael, USN (Ret.), MOAA Senior Director, Affiliated Councils and Chapters.

CONVENTION DETAILS

WHAT: ARKANSAS MOAA CONVENTION 2026 (ARCON 26)

WHEN: Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 0930-1630

WHERE: Camp Robinson APEX Complex

MENU: Cafeteria-style lunch, mid-afternoon "snack" and no host Social Hour at Convention conclusion

COST: $30 per attendee

DRESS: Casual, please wear Chapter name tag (if you have one)

RSVP: Request your name and spouse name (if attending) be sending email to Sam Sansom, samayeam@pgtc.com. Please RSVP no later than July 6, 2026.

RSVP NOTE: If you RSVP and are a "no show" or cancel after the July 6, 2026, NLT date, you will still be responsible for paying for the Convention.

CONVENTION PAYMENT OPTIONS

Members can use the Zelle app (if their bank utilizes it) to pay the $30 fee. Send to: samayeam@pgtc.com. A payment confirmation will be sent within 24 hours.

Checks may also be paid upon arrival at the convention. No cash or credit card payments will be accepted at check-in.

CONVENTION LODGING ACCOMODATIONS

Camp Robinson housing will be available to Convention attendees.

The Housing Office can be reached by calling (501) 212-5039 (or temporary cell 501-549-8697) during the hours of 0700-1630, or by email at rmtchousing@army.mil.

A block of rooms has been reserved for the Convention for the Friday, July 24 - Sunday, July 26. Upon making reservations, please note that you are with the MOAA group.

Private rooms with bathrooms are $25 or $26 dollars per night and there is a $2.50 per night surcharge for civilians and retirees. Arrangements can be made for after-hours key pick up and return.

Due to the limited size of the venue, overall attendance must be capped at 150 attendees. Please RSVP early to ensure you have a seat.
