The more members MOAA has, the more influence the organization has on state and national issues. The national organization works closely with leaders on Capitol Hill to advocate for issues that directly impact servicemembers, veterans, and their families. Local chapters and individual members are also encouraged to contact their state legislators regarding laws and regulations on the state and regional levels.
